What should Rachel do?
As always, I asked our gleeky friends over on our Facebook page, and three out of five respondents want Rachel to both marry Finn and go to NYADA. Unsurprisingly.
14% want Rachel to dump Finn and go to NYADA:
They are suitable for each other, but I think NYADA is Rachel’s dream and I believe she should go for it.
— Amanda St. Dennis
The only reason Finn proposed is because he had no plan for his future. And the only reason Rachel accepted was because she didn’t have a plan either … There’s still plenty time for marriage, but they’re young and should live a little while before settling down.
— Robert Lad Conley
Why does everyone want her to marry Finn? Is it just me? It doesn’t seem like they are friends most of the time, let alone in love! Plus, married while Rachel is in NYADA and Finn [is] in Ohio running a car repair shop?
— Laura Stanley
A paltry 8% want her to choose Finn over NYADA:
Having a family is better than your career. I mean, maybe she can find something else to do in Ohio. She has to marry him. Maybe they might become glee club teachers, who knows!
— Lux Emily Kila
Some want to prove that there’s some good in doing both, albeit with time assisting them:
They should just stay engaged for a while. Maybe through college. And then get married!
— Dana Scherer
It doesn’t have to be an either/or scenario. It would be great to show you can have it all.
— Verissa Davila
And some… have a completely different suggestion altogether.
Drop him and date Quinn and go to NYADA!
— Debra Battle
Marry Quinn.
— Delal Hatem
Go to NYADA and never marry Finn! There will be other suitable people for her. But if she really wants to marry someone, I suggest Quinn… I can’t stand Finn!
— Chelsey Jean
Ahh, Glee. Where Brittana ain’t enough. Your thoughts?
